NCC Supports Congressional Medal of Honor Ceremony

On Tuesday, February 12, NCC was proud to support Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) at the Medal of Honor Ceremony in the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes.  NCC’s Conference and Peer Review Management (CPRM) team facilitated all lighting, backdrop, and staging set up in the auditorium for the event which honored former U.S. Army staff sergeant Clinton Romesha. On Monday, January 14th, an NCC Multimedia Solutions associate provided on-site transcription support at the South Capitol Street Corridor Project Industry Day event held in Matthews Memorial Baptist Church in Southeast Washington, DC. The public meeting discussion was centered on the District Department of Transportation’s (DDOT) Anacostia Waterfront Initiative, which focuses on improving accessibility, safety, and economic development from the neighborhoods around Nationals Park  in Southeast DC, across the Anacostia River to the area along Suitland Parkway. NCC Takes Part in Arlington Hunger Relief

On Monday, January 21st, NCC’s Vice President of Operations Lorene Eberhardt spent the morning at Cherrydale Baptist Church’s Arlington Hunger Relief event, preparing meals for local-area residents in need. Ms. Eberhardt, along with more than 100 volunteers mostly made up of Arlington-area church youth groups, donned hairnets and worked together in mini assembly-line groups to bag approximately 61,000 meals of nutritious rice, beans, and vegetables, surpassing the event’s goal of 50,000.  Furthermore, 30,000 of these meals were delivered ... read more »

NCC Eats Pizza (Again) to Benefit AFAC

On January 16th, several NCC employees took a lunch trip to Pie-tanza in Arlington, sampling some of the restaurant's tastiest pizza and contributing to a worthy cause; twenty percent of proceeds for the entire day of sales at Pie-tanza were donated to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), a non-profit organization which NCC has supported since April of 2012. NCC Supports NIH with Audiovisual Upgrades Through Chugach Subcontract

In December, NCC was pleased to provide audiovisual support to the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Director’s Conference Room through a subcontract with Chugach Alaska Corporation.  Our Audiovisual and Technology Solutions (AVTS) associates spent the final days of 2012 replacing much of the outdated equipment in the conference room with state-of-the-art, easy-to-use technology.  The upgrades included a high definition projector screen, control touch panel, and enhanced audio system.  A key portion of the update was the installation ... read more »
