What are the computer requirements to view a live webcast?

To view a webcast, you computer must have a high-speed internet connection and have the Adobe Flash player installed. If you are unsure if Flash player is installed, please visit http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and follow the instructions provided.

Is it possible to view the agenda for an event that is being webcast?

Agendas and other event materials (as applicable) are posted under the “Resources” tab at the bottom left of the webcast player window.

Can I enlarge the video portion of the webcast?

Yes. Click the “Swap video and slide” button at the top of the player.

How do I access closed captioning?

If you are watching an event live, a link to the closed captioning can be found under the “Resources” tab at the bottom left of the webcast player window. If you are viewing a webcast on-demand, closed captioning will be visible directly below the video window.

How soon after an event will the on-demand webcast be available?

Archived webcasts are usually available within minutes of an event’s conclusion, and are always available within 24 hours.

How can I find a specific portion of a webcast?

Live webcasts are shown in real time and cannot be rewound or advanced by viewers.

There are several ways to navigate an archived webcast.

  • Use the video controls and/or playback bar located underneath the video window
  • Click the “Chapters” tab and select a chapter marker (chapters are usually determined by Agenda items)
  • Click the “Thumbnails” button; when you select a slide, the webcast will automatically advance or back up to that point in the presentations.
