History
NCC was founded by Chris Marquez in May 2002 as National Capitol Captioning, with the initial mission of providing realtime captioning services to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
After four years of steady and rapid growth, NCC officially changed its name to National Capitol Contracting, reflecting our expansion into other business areas, including audiovisual integration, information technology, multimedia support, and conference management. More recently our services have grown further to include AV conference center support, peer and grant review management, and live event webcasting.
Our headquarters in Arlington, Virginia make it easy for us to support the clients that make up the majority of our customer base: Federal agencies and related organizations. We continue to develop partnerships with private sector firms, including non-profit research organizations, television production companies, and financial institutions.
NCC has a proven track record of excellent products and services and is looking to the coming years as an opportunity to grow both in our industry and our community: building relationships with new and current clients, expanding our service offerings, and supporting local organizations who exemplify our commitment to doing GOOD.
Over the last decade, NCC’s superior service and high quality work have set us apart, and our team anticipates many more achievements and milestones in the years to come.
